Sanchard Ltd are not actively involved in the provision of Facilities services, however as a responsible company we are committed to minimising our impact on the environment through our activities.

Where appropriate, we will comply with the principal commitments of client policies, legislative and regulatory requirements that will conserve or reduce wastage or minimise damage to the environment, including, but not limited to, the principals of ISO 14001.

We recognise that we have a responsibility to promote environmental care and management and to conduct our business at all times in full cognisance of policies and practices.

We believe that we are part of the Global responsibility for maintaining a sustainable future for our planet and the next generations to develop and influence sound environmental management and control policies.

The following policy guidelines show the principal commitments we have set ourselves:

  • We will always take account of environmental issues relating to the services we provide.
  • We will endeavour to comply with the relevant environmental laws and regulations.
  • We will where appropriate use modern technology and materials which is a benefit not only to the business but demonstrates a measurable benefit to the environment in the reduction of potentially harmful materials or processes.
  • Encourage the use of environmental friendly materials and practices.
  • Encourage the efficient use of fuel/energy.
  • Practice sound time management techniques to reduce travelling and cost.
  • Encourage safe driving practices and the use of unleaded fuels.
  • Continually monitor and develop our policies to take account of changes.
  • We will always ensure full awareness of our clients' environmental ethic prior to commencement of any consultancy and advise our clients of our own policy.
  • We will ensure that all suppliers involved in the provision of services to us and our clients have demonstrable and robust environmental policies.
  • When involved with kitchen/restaurant design, we will recommend the use of equipment to maximise waste reduction, energy efficiency and conservation.
  • We will advise clients of developments within the industry, concerns which may devalue environmental policy.
  • We will encourage the introduction of recycling opportunities
