GENERAL STATEMENT.

Sanchard Ltd wholly accepts the aims and provisions of the Health and Safety at Work Act, 1974 and any other acts, orders or rules of law, which pertain to health and safety and will make full use of Codes of Practice, guidance notes and the best working methods available.

The Company recognises the need to provide and maintain safe, healthy and hygienic working conditions and practices and will endeavour to have in place appropriate monitoring and control measures for the health and safety procedures carried out by the company.

The Company considers that all employees have an individual responsibility for ensuring strict adherence to all Company safety rules and regulations and that they are obliged to co-operate with management in maintaining good standards of health and safety.

Sanchard Ltd acknowledge that the majority of work carried out by the company will be on client premises and therefore confirm that they accept and will adhere to client Health and Safety policies as appropriate whilst engaged on client premises.

The Managing Director of Sanchard Ltd has ultimate responsibility for the implementation of the Company's Health and Safety Policy.

This Policy Statement will apply to all persons working within the areas for which Sanchard Ltd are responsible, whether or not they are contractually employed by the Company.
